Biloxi Maritime and Seafood Museum

Established in 1986, the Biloxi Maritime and Seafood Museum’s mission is to collect and preserve artifacts, photographs, equipment, and vessels that reflect the maritime history and culture, past and present, of Biloxi.  Hurricane Katrina destroyed the original museum on the same site.  It has been replaced by this building, which opened in August 2014.  The museum houses the Wade Guice Hurricane Museum, a research library, and other attractions.  Year-round educational programs and a summer sea-sail camp are available.

Go back to  Myrtle St.  Turn right (north) and go one block to Howard Avenue.
